[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical and petrochemical facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity. Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues identified during patrols. Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during incidents or drills as required. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential risks and provide assistance as needed. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
