Job Summary: Temporary - 3 to 6 Months- 8am - 4:30p Mon -Fri and every Third Weekend

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Aide to join our team at Renaissance Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a member of our Activities Department, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities, programs, and events. Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement activities, programs, and events that promote socialization, recreation, and relaxation among residents

• Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and implement programs that cater to diverse interests and abilities

• Lead and assist with group activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and outings

• Provide one-on-one support and companionship to residents, as needed

• Maintain accurate records and reports of activities, resident participation, and feedback

• Assist with resident assessments and develop individualized activity plans

• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of new programs and services

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 0 years of experience or equivalent education/training

• Ability to work effectively with seniors and their families

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Basic knowledge of geriatric care and activities
