Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Supporting surgical teams by preparing and organizing surgical areas
  • Ensuring sterile environments are maintained and following strict infection control protocols
  • Assisting surgeons and surgical assistants by handing them necessary instruments and supplies
  • Managing surgical tools and equipment effectively before, during, and after procedures
  • Monitoring inventory and ensuring everything is ready for each surgery
  • Working collaboratively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other surgical personnel for optimal outcomes
  • Keeping precise counts and surgeons' documentation accurately
Education Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
Certifications Needed:
  • Possession of a current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential
  • BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)
