If you have excellent data entry skills, love working with Excel, are organized and detail oriented, we think you should apply to our Billing Specialist position and join our team located in Golden Valley, MN! This is a 100% on-site role.

Salary Range: $24-$25/hr. (commensurate with experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

As a part of the Driver Settlements Team you'll report directly to the Driver Payroll Supervisor here at Koch Companies corporate offices. The ideal candidate will manage the prompt and accurate weekly payment of wages to Company Drivers and monies owed to Owner Operators. You'll use Excel and other MS Suite applications. Close communication with other payroll/settlement team members.

What does this job look like daily?

• Daily reconciling of trips for Driver payroll and maintaining multiple pay types and schedules for weekly payroll process.
• Generate weekly reports and export to Excel to prepare for invoicing.
• Audit reports and TMW loads to generate customer invoices on assigned accounts. Troubleshoot with Operations to verify load charges are correct.
• Ensure invoicing methods and rates are followed according to customer contract and requirement.
• Monitor Workflows and correctly index documents to loads.
• Monitor invoice printing and mailing processes.
• Audit and correct invoice errors.
• Monitor and maintain rate books and fuel surcharge for customers.
• Assist Accounts Receivables in investigating and resolving billing disputes.
• Answer calls and emails. Provide information and documents to customers.
• Cross train on other accounts and provide backup for other team members billing as needed.
• Create department reports and manage process for daily tally on billing totals and bank deposits.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Review Daily Audit Reports

What do you need to do this job?

• High attention to detail
• Ability to identify and resolve problems
• Skilled in Microsoft Office with Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
• Ability to learn and navigate various software platforms including TMW and Epicor
• Strong communication skills via phone, in person, or in writing
• 2+ years of Payroll or AR experience
• Preferred Payroll or AR in Transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates Degree in Accounting preferred

The salary grade for this position ranges from $46,000 - $63,000.00 per annum. While offers will be based on experience and qualifications, the targeted pay range for this role is $50,000-$52,000 (commensurate with experience).
