Position Overview

Assistant Teachers (Teacher Aides) serve as a second set of eyes and ears in the classroom, supporting the Lead Teacher and ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for our toddlers (ages 2-3).

This role is hands-on, active, and deeply rewarding. You'll help maintain the flow of the classroom, maximize learning opportunities, and support children's social-emotional, physical, and developmental growth.

Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with the Lead Teacher to support daily classroom operations, including:

• Preparing and serving meals and snacks
• Diaper changing and potty-training support
• Assisting with daily curriculum and learning activities
• Engaging in play and learning throughout the day
• Writing daily reports and communicating with families
• Recording attendance and maintaining classroom documentation
• Creating and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom
• Building strong, intentional partnerships with parents
• Supporting children's emotional regulation and independence
• Maintaining health, safety, and licensing standards

Education & Requirements

• High School Diploma (required)
• Early Childhood Education experience preferred
• PDIS Level preferred
• CPR / First Aid required
• (Medical Administration preferred; training support may be provided)
• Must pass all required background checks and meet state licensing requirements
