SQA Automation

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Automation Engineer


Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 6 months
Location: FL Remote

As an Automation Engineer you will:

• Develop, update, and maintain automation test scripts for new and existing features using Postman, REST-assured, Selenium, and similar tools.
• Perform full?cycle QA activities across project phases including planning, execution, tracking, and reporting.
• Conduct backend testing through SQL query development and data validation within SQL Server or Oracle databases.
• Collaborate with cross?functional teams to review requirements, define test strategies, and ensure complete test coverage.
• Execute test cases, log defects, support root?cause analysis, and participate in regression testing within Agile environments.
• Set up and maintain test environments, including test data preparation and execution validation.
• Contribute to continuous improvements of testing frameworks, methodologies, and QA processes.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in automation testing for software products and web/mobile applications.
• 5+ years hands?on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium) using Java or C#.
• 5+ years analyzing requirements and building comprehensive test cases.
• 5+ years in backend testing and SQL query development (SQL Server or Oracle).
• 3+ years in a Senior or Lead SQA Automation role.
• 3+ years in Web UI testing.
• 3+ years working with Azure DevOps, Quality Center, or Microsoft Test Manager.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross?functional stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Additional experience with QA automation tools such as Postman, REST-assured, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Experience reviewing system-level designs and defining associated test strategies.
• Background in testing batch processes and validating backend data via queries.
• Knowledge of test environment setup, environment maintenance, and test data management.
• Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Equivalent practical experience may also be considered.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $45- $50 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
