Entry Level Engineer

Entry Level Engineering Opportunity!

We are seeking a Entry Level Engineers to join our client in Houston. Under the supervision of a technical lead, you will support various activities related to the design and construction of electrical overhead and underground distribution systems. These systems operate from 4kV through 138kV and are primarily associated with programmatic work such as overloaded transformers, inspection, and maintenance. You will ensure compliance with safety requirements and design quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop design and construction work packages for electrical distribution systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and design expectations.
• Travel to sites for inspections and perform engineering design work.
• Perform engineering calculations, including structural analysis and voltage drop calculations.
• Develop permitting documents for different Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
• Provide engineering support during construction and conduct post-construction reviews.
• Conduct root cause analysis of outages and apply engineering principles for mitigation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $30.00 / hr.
