1. Coordinate with Activity Coordinator employee schedules, appointments and their lunches.
2. Follow through with Activities Coordinators instructions independently and provide feedback to Coordinator on the effectiveness of the activity.
3. Set-up, implement and evaluate activities assigned by the direction of the Activities Coordinator.
4. Ensure that all employees (Activity Assistants, Drivers and CNA's) are performing all required duties that are assigned on daily schedule. Initiate re-direction and or counseling to employees that do not follow company policy or procedures. Make work schedule adjustments to maintain minimum staffing requirements.
5. Maintain proper etiquette on the floor. Diffuse any staff gossip, rudeness or disrespect on the floor.
6. Ensure that the ratio of staff and client is fulfilled in each activity area or activity floor.
7. Have counseling with the Activity Coordinator on job performance of each staff and what interventions if any should apply.
8. Be accountable for schedule adherence. Ensure that all activities begin promptly as scheduled and that vans are loaded 10 minutes before departure and departing on time.
9. Be accountable for the overall cleanliness of the facility. Ensure that staff are doing their assigned cleaning tasks each day and that all areas are cleaned and straightened at the end of each day.
10. Weekly follow-up with CNA's and verify that the book was completed in accordance with company policy and procedure.
11. Be able to fill in a position that is required when it is needed or where there is a shortage, such as toileting, and or serving and providing assistance with other staff to ensure that the ratio is fulfilled.
12. Any other duties assigned or directed by the Program Director or Activity Coordinator.
Requirements:High School Diploma
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions

Be physically able to assist with lifting clients on or off vans
