Tenure-Track: Assistant Professor of U.S. History, Law and Science/Technology/Medicine

The Department of History in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month appointment, tenure-track Assistant Professor of U.S. History (any period) with expertise at the intersection of law and science, technology, or medicine to begin in the fall of 2026. We seek a scholar whose research complements and enhances existing departmental strengths and broadens our intellectual and methodological diversity. Candidates should demonstrate a record of, or clear potential for, significant scholarly contributions in areas such as legal history, as well as histories of science, technology, medicine, public health, or related fields situated within U.S. historical contexts. Qualifications

The position requires a Ph.D. in History, or a related field.
