Job Description

Join Our Team as an RN - Critical Care and Make a Vital Impact

Are you a dedicated registered nurse eager to deliver exceptional critical care in a fast-paced hospital environment? We are seeking experienced RN - Critical Care professionals to provide top-quality care to adult ICU patients. This role offers the opportunity to work night shifts, providing a crucial service during overnight hours, and allows you to utilize your skills in a dynamic and rewarding setting.

Required Skills
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse license
  • BLS certification with the ability to recertify
  • Minimum of 1.5 years recent acute care experience in a hospital setting within the past two years, preferably in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers
  • Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records strongly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver high-quality nursing care independently
  • Must not have any suspended or investigated professional licenses or certifications
  • No record of being named as a defendant in a professional liability claim
  • Verification of legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment health screening, drug testing, and criminal background check
Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience working in adult ICU units with level 1 or 2 trauma experience
  • Previous exposure to hospital systems of comparable or larger size
  • Flexibility to work rotating weekends and some holidays, with scheduled time off longer than 7 days generally not available
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Active RN license in New York State
  • Minimum of 1.5 years recent, relevant ICU experience, preferably in trauma centers
  • Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records systems
Other Requirements
  • Night shift (12-hour shifts), working every other weekend and select holidays
  • Willingness to work in a high-acuity critical care environment requiring independent judgment and advanced skills
  • Travel experience only considered if in hospitals of similar or greater size and trauma level

  • Hourly pay rate of $69.02
