Church Nursery Worker

We’re looking for a caring, responsible Church Nursery Worker to create a safe and welcoming space for young children during Sunday services and ministry events. This role involves supervising kids, leading simple activities, keeping the nursery clean and secure, and making parents feel confident that their little ones are in good hands. If you love working with children and want to support families while living out your faith, we’d love to have you on the team.

Schedule : Must be available Sundays from 8 : 30 AM to 12 : 30 PM. Wednesday availability from 5 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 PM is preferred but not required.

Wage :   $ per hour

Qualifications :

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of one year of successful experience working with children.
• Coursework in child development or a related field preferred.
• CPR / First Aid / AED certification required at hire or must be obtained within 30 days.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine love for working with children.
• Demonstrated Christian character and alignment with The Salvation Army’s values.
• Must pass child safety background clearance and follow Protecting the Mission (PTM) protocols.
