Certified Plumbing Services Inc is looking for a motivated and dependable Apprentice Plumber to join our Field Operations team. This role is ideal for someone with residential new construction experience who is ready to continue developing their plumbing career under the guidance of experienced professionals.

As an Apprentice Plumber, you will assist with residential new construction plumbing installations, learn advanced system layouts, and build hands-on skills that position you for long-term growth within our company.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in installing plumbing systems for residential new construction projects

Support rough-ins, top-outs, and trim installations

Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping systems under supervision

Maintain jobsite cleanliness and organization

Safely operate plumbing tools and equipment

Communicate progress and material needs to the Journeyman or Project Lead

Follow Illinois plumbing codes and company safety standards

Continue developing trade knowledge through mentorship and hands-on training

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of residential new construction plumbing experience preferred

Valid Illinois Apprentice Plumbing License (Required)

Working knowledge of plumbing terms, materials, and tools

Ability to read basic blueprints and follow instructions

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Ability to work well with others in a team environment

Valid drivers license with reliable transportation

Ability to work onsite full-time
