[job_card.job_description]BS or MS in Civil Engineering (required). Professional Engineer (PE) license in Montana and / or Wyoming required. 6-15 years of experience in civil engineering. Experience in project management a plus. Proficiency in AutoCAD and / or Civil 3D. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license; ability to travel as needed. Commitment to service, quality, and integrity. Attention to detail and ability to deliver within budgets and timelines. Responsive and results-driven approach with clients. Collaborative, adaptable, and committed to continual learning.
We have an immediate opening for a Civil / Environmental Engineer (BS or MS in Civil Engineering required) with an interest in civil, water resources, environmental, geotechnical, and / or transportation engineering. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple disciplines-planning, design, permitting, and construction-while contributing to impactful infrastructure and environmental projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and lead civil and environmental engineering design tasks.
- Develop engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and bid packages.
- Lead or assist with project development, proposals, and client interactions.
- Conduct permitting with state, EPA, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and other agencies.
- Oversee construction administration, including site inspections, QA / QC, contractor pay application review, and field reporting.
- Support surveying activities to collect and stake project data.
- Provide mentorship and quality oversight for associate engineers and design staff.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil3D to prepare technical drawings and designs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and professional engineering standards.
