Plant Controller

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Plant Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $, to $, per year.

Job Responsibilities :

Act as a financial partner to plant leadership, providing insights to improve efficiency and profitability.

Lead variance analysis reviews, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.

Oversee monthly close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

Maintain accurate standard costs, bills of materials, and routing data in collaboration with operations.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with production and staffing plans.

Requirements :

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control principles.

Advanced Excel skills, including data modeling and complex formulas.

Proficiency in ERP systems; experience with platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, or Infor.

Ability to analyze manufacturing variances and communicate actionable recommendations.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications :

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CMA or CPA.

Minimum of 8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including cost accounting.

Prior experience supporting audits and managing general ledger reconciliations.

Familiarity with FP&A processes, including budgeting and margin analysis.

Exposure to process automation and system implementation initiatives.
