Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Consultant – DevOps position for our client.

Location : Houston, TX

Duration : 11 months

Duties :

Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).

Migrate applications to AWS Outposts using modern automation and GenAI-assisted migration tools.

Build and manage CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline / CodeBuild).

Deploy and operate containerized workloads on EKS, ECS, and Fargate.

Implement scaling, load balancing, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).

Enforce AWS security best practices (IAM, Secrets Manager, network security).

Support incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.

Collaborate with development, security, and architecture teams.

Skills :

AWS DevOps engineering

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)

CI / CD automation

Containers and orchestration (EKS, ECS, Fargate)

Monitoring, logging, and observability

Cloud security and compliance

Experience :

5+ years of AWS DevOps experience

Hands-on AWS Outposts migration experience

Multi-account AWS environments

Education :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (required)
