Release Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Release Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities :

• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and deploy software releases across various platforms and products to ensure timely and accurate implementation of defined deliverables without disruption to business operations
• Work closely with multiple teams, such as development, quality assurance, project management, DevOps, scrum masters, delivery leads and business operations
• Manage end-to-end release lifecycle, effectively communicating the release objectives based on release scope
• Organize and facilitate milestones, task list, defect and retrospective calls
• Collaborate with development, QA and operation teams to plan the release activities and deployment scope
• Work with delivery leads to ensure the release artifacts adhere to the company standards
• Coordinate delivery while managing risks and mitigating potential impact to upstream and downstream systems
• Provide end to end visibility to the health of the deliverables
• Ensure execution and delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the quality and timelines
• Facilitate sync points across multiple organization to enable delivery
