Pay Range : $125,000 $150,000 base salary + incentive compensation

Job Summary : Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a well-established consulting firm in the engineering and professional services space to help them hire a Controller. This newly created role will consolidate financial functions, modernize processes, and provide strategic support as the company continues to grow. The position is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in a collaborative, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, billing, A / R, A / P, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
• Take ownership of project accounting across the company
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, audits, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Partner with project managers and leadership to analyze project budgets, profitability, and operational metrics.
• Develop financial reports, scenario models, and forecasts to support planning and decision-making.
• Serve as liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, and vendors.
• Establish and refine accounting procedures and controls to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Support strategic initiatives such as employee ownership, equity tracking, and long-term business planning.
