- Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's specific conditions and goals.
- Deliver evidence-based speech therapy interventions, including early intervention services.
- Monitor student progress regularly and adjust therapy strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes.
- Educate students and their families about speech development milestones and strategies for ongoing support at home.
- Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices, physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and anatomy related to communication disorders.
- Experience
- Prior experience working with child / adolescent populations is required.
- Demonstrated expertise in speech therapy techniques for diverse communication disorders.
- Familiarity with assessment methods and early intervention programs.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy related to speech production, and medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology.
- Experience working with children requiring specialized therapies for speech delays or disorders is preferred.
