Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and proactive .NET Production Support Engineer to support, monitor, and maintain enterprise applications in a production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in troubleshooting .NET applications, handling production incidents, and ensuring high system availability while working closely with development and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 / L3 production support for .NET-based applications
- Monitor application health, performance, and availability in production
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues within defined SLAs
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
- Support deployment activities, hotfixes, and minor enhancements
- Work with development teams to debug application issues and code defects
- Handle incident, problem, and change management processes
- Create and maintain production support documentation and runbooks
- Participate in on-call support and after-hours support as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience with .NET Framework / .NET Core , C#Hands-on experience with ASP.NET, Web APIs , and IISGood knowledge of SQL Server (queries, performance tuning, debugging)Experience supporting applications in a production environmentFamiliarity with monitoring tools, logging, and alerting mechanismsUnderstanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)Ability to analyze logs, debug issues, and identify root causesStrong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teamsPreferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and deployment toolsExposure to DevOps practices and automationExperience supporting high-availability or mission-critical applicationsEmployment Type
