Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. This position is designed for a professional with extensive experience in tax preparation and planning, particularly for high-net-worth individuals and various entities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations while providing expert advice to clients on tax strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and LLCs.
- Manage tax planning strategies to optimize client tax positions and minimize liabilities.
- Conduct thorough research on tax regulations and changes to ensure compliance and provide accurate guidance to clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on tax-related matters.
- Assist with audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes related to tax preparation and planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA certification is required; EA designation is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax.
- Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance for various entities including S Corps, C Corps, Partnerships, and LLCs.
- Experience in tax planning and preparation for high-net-worth individuals.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
