Pick and Pack / Material Handler

Location :  Modesto, CA

Shift :  Monday – Friday, 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM

Duration :  Temp

1. Scanner

Pay Rate :  $19.70 / hour

Job Summary :

Responsible for accurately scanning and processing customer orders using an RF Scanner. This role involves light lifting, counting, and moving items to prepare orders for shipment.

Key Duties :

Operate an RF Scanner to pick and track items accurately.

Lift and handle items up to 25 lbs.

Verify product counts and locations.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Follow instructions and warehouse safety procedures.

Qualifications :

Ability to operate an RF Scanner efficiently.

Basic warehouse experience preferred.

Good attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

2. Material Handler

Pay Rate :  $20.65 / hour

Job Summary :

Responsible for moving and handling materials within the warehouse using hand pallet jacks and other non-powered equipment. Performs heavier lifting and ensures materials are transported safely and efficiently.

Key Duties :

Use hand pallet jacks to move pallets and load / unload items.

Lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.

Assist with order fulfillment and shipping preparation.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow instructions and warehouse safety procedures.

Qualifications :

Basic warehouse experience preferred.

Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.

Good communication skills and teamwork.

Able to operate hand pallet jacks and follow safety protocols.

Work Environment for Both Roles :

Primarily indoors (90%), with occasional outdoor work (10%).

Active, standing, walking, lifting, and material handling required.

Safety precautions and equipment use as required.
