Job Title : Facilities Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Facilities Engineer responsible for performing corrective and preventative maintenance on building systems and lab equipment. The role requires troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues across the facility and maintaining GMP documentation using CMMS software. The engineer will support off-hours emergency repairs, supervise external vendors, and operate building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspection and repair of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.
• Perform hands-on work with motors, pumps, chillers, boilers, and lab equipment like autoclaves and cryogenic units.
• Accurately log maintenance activities in CMMS (preferably Blue Mountain) to meet FDA and GMP standards.
• Oversee third-party contractors to ensure quality work and adherence to safety and regulatory protocols.

Work Environment

The Facilities Engineer will work in a state-of-the-art lentiviral vector manufacturing facility located in Louisville, CO. This is an on-site role requiring daily presence at the facility. The role requires the use of PPE, and involves physical activities including standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 30 lbs. The technician will support both routine and emergency maintenance, including on-call availability. This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.64 - $40.34 / hr.
