Senior Controls Developer

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Controls Developer position include :

• 4–7 years of experience developing control systems for renewable energy, grid-connected power, or industrial automation
• Proficiency with CodeSYS, IEC 61131-3, and structured text programming
• Develop and validate advanced control logic for the Power Plant Controller (PPC) platform using CodeSYS and AcSELerator RTAC
• Familiarity with simulation-based testing (Opal-RT, SIL / HIL), Git version control, and DevOps pipelines
• Experience with SEL RTAC platform development and commissioning
• Knowledge of solar PV and BESS architectures, grid interconnection standards (IEEE 2800, ERCOT, NERC MOD-025 / 026 / 027)
• Create clear documentation and train project teams on PPC setup, validation, and deployment
• Travel up to 20% for commissioning and field deployment

Salary : $130,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Benefits : This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health insurance through United Healthcare covering 85% for employees and families, a 401K with 100% match up to 4% after 90 days, 15 days of PTO plus 3 floating days (all front-loaded), and a 10% end-of-year bonus based on YTD salary.
