Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our dynamic team in Santa Fe Springs, CA. If you have a passion for precision machining and programming, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality parts that meet our clients' specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce precision parts.
  • Develop and modify CNC programs using CAD / CAM software.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CNC machinist and programmer, with a strong understanding of CNC operations.
  • Proficiency in CAD / CAM software and G-code programming.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a machining environment.
