Extension is seeking an EHS Specialist for a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Milwaukee, WI.

Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safety and environmental compliance programs across the facility.
  • Evaluate hazards and proactively manage safety risks to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Track and analyze safety metrics and trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement safety best practices and deliver training.
  • Influence a positive safety culture across all shifts by building relationships and leading by example.

    • Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing setting (strong internship experience may be considered).
  • Understanding of machine guarding and lockout / tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and the ability to implement policy in line with compliance requirements.
  • Strong initiative, communication skills, and logical problem-solving ability.

    • Salary Information $85k-$92k
