Freese and Nicholsissearching for an ambitious and experiencedProject Managerto join our growing transportation team inTulsa, OK or Oklahoma City, OK.We are looking for a motivated leader who can manage projects, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of our transportation practice in the Central Plains region and the communities we serve.
This role offers more than traditional project management responsibilities. You’ll be trusted to make decisions, lead client engagements, and influence how projects are delivered. Over time,you’llhave the opportunity to grow as a leader, take on expanded technical and management responsibilities, and help shape the future of transportation work in Oklahoma.
Responsibilities:
Lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong working relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
Develop and execute project plans, including defining project goals, milestones, and deliverables.
Manage project teams, providing clear direction and instruction to engineers, designers, and support staff.
Oversee the preparation of design plans, specifications, reports, and studies.
Conduct quality control reviews on project deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with established criteria.
Mentor andprovidecareer development guidance to junior staff.
Contribute to business development activities, including preparing proposals andparticipatingin client meetings.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineeringor a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
8+ years of experience in transportation or civil engineering, with a minimum of2yearin a project management role.
Proven experience managing transportation projects, including highways, roadways, and traffic engineering.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, andmaintainproject schedules.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Experience with project management software and tools.
Familiarity withBentleyOpenRoadsDesigner or AutoCAD Civil 3Dis a plus.
