Previous experience in a similar role within a production or manufacturing environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic supply chain principles. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), with experience in ERP / MRP systems being an advantage Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Materials Specialist to join our Production team. As a critical member of the department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials to meet production schedules. This is a full-time, hourly role where you'll collaborate with various teams to ensure materials management excellence while adhering to company standards and workflows.
What you'll do
- Monitor and manage inventory of raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of materials transactions in the company's inventory management system.
- Analyze production schedules and forecasts to anticipate material needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements during material handling.
- Collaborate with the Production team to solve material-related issues and optimize workflows.
