Procurement Analyst

ProSidian Consulting is looking for a Procurement Analyst located in Dallas, TX to support an engagement for a United States Federal Financial Agency Government Corporation providing deposit insurance to depositors in U.S. commercial banks and savings institutions.

The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide professional support services to The Agency's acquisition personnel in a variety of acquisition-related functions. These functions include assistance in the pre-award, post-award and closeout phases of the acquisition cycle, and analyzing functions related to acquisition policies and procedures. Acquisition-related tasks include, but not limited to: market research, development of milestone schedules, analyze cost or price proposals, prepare and process technical evaluation documents, provide administrative assistance, coordinate contract close-outs and other administrative actions.

Acquisition Support Services Candidates shall work to support requirements as a Procurement Analyst and perform research and analysis on contracting matters and makes recommendations to the Government Agency's Acquisition Personnel concerning development of procurement policies, procedures, guidance and controls. Procurement Analyst is responsible for implementing and managing quality control systems designed to maintain the function of the uniform, equipment and laundry services at the federal training academy focused on public protection.

Responsibilities include:

• Develops and prepares recurring, ad hoc, and customized reports.
• Gathers, analyzes and composes technical information.
• Converts and translates technical information into clear, understandable documents.
• Other duties and tasks as needed.

The Procurement Analyst shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position.

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, such as accounting, finance, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
• Six (6) years experience in commercial or government contracting specializing in analyzing and drafting rules and policies and performing data analysis and reporting.
• OR Education and experience requirements may be met by a total of ten (10) years experience in commercial or government contracting specializing in analyzing and drafting rules and policies and performing data analysis and reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
