Position: Temp-to-Hire Litigation Paralegal

Overview

A highly regarded solo practitioner in the Denver Tech Center is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join the team on a temp-to-hire basis. This position is well-suited for someone who excels in managing complex commercial litigation matters, is comfortable handling cases from initial filing through trial, and thrives in a small, highly engaged work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of litigation files, including organization, tracking deadlines, and maintaining detailed case records
• Conduct thorough cite checking using the Bluebook and ensure all filings meet technical and procedural requirements
• Prepare, revise, and format legal documents, briefs, pleadings, and PowerPoint presentations
• Handle electronic filing
• Utilize Relativity (or similar litigation document management software) to assist with document review, tagging, and production workflows
• Coordinate discovery, including document production, organization, and preparation of deposition materials
• Support deposition preparation by assembling exhibits, creating witness files, and managing related logistics
• Assist with trial preparation by organizing exhibits, creating trial binders, drafting witness lists, and supporting in-court trial activities
• Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling deadlines, hearings, and meetings
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations
• Work independently and proactively to anticipate case needs in a fast-paced litigation setting

Additional Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate
• Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm
• Extensive trial support experience
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Experience with Relativity or comparable platforms
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage competing priorities

Salary: $80-$110k/yr.
