The Role

Are you ready to take your tax expertise to the next level with a trailblazing leader in cloud solutions for life sciences? Veeva Systems is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Senior Analyst International Tax to oversee critical aspects of our international tax operations. From preparing tax provisions to driving compliance and spearheading transfer pricing documentation, this role offers a dynamic opportunity to shape the future of tax processes in a cutting-edge environment.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare quarterly and annual international ASC 740 tax provision models, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Lead calculations for tax implications related to FDII, GILTI, and BEAT
  • Executing tax accounting control compliance under Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Collaborate with external service providers on international forms (Form 5471 and 8858) within our Federal income tax return and transfer pricing studies
  • Coordinate with foreign accounting teams on international tax matters
  • Conduct research and provide insightful analysis on tax implications of specific transactions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather financial information for tax purposes
  • Take the lead on ad hoc tax projects that drive continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in international tax in a CPA firm
  • Expertise in international tax provision preparation
  • A sharp analytical mindset with a knack for problem-solving
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Excel

    • Nice to Have

  • A degree in Finance or Accounting (B.S. / B.A.)
  • CPA certification or a Master’s in Taxation
  • Experience with Big 4 firms or in a multinational corporate setting
  • Previous exposure to Netsuite

    • Compensation

  • Base pay : $90,000 - $140,000
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and / or stock bonus.
