Clerical Assistant

Providence Staffings client in Mobile AL needs a Clerical Assistant. The Clerical Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties with minimal supervision. The role supports daily office operations by handling documentation filing and basic data processing in an organized and efficient manner. This is a temp-to-perm position.

Essential Job Functions

• Lift and carry items up to 35 pounds as needed
• Retrieve and organize checks from multiple filing boxes
• Print cover sheets and related documents from DocuShare
• Scan documents into DocuShare using a Xerox copier / scanner
• File check documents and related records back into the appropriate boxes or storage locations
• Maintain accurate and organized records
• Perform general office tasks such as copying sorting filing and data entry
• Assist team members and perform additional clerical duties as assigned
