Overview : Provides professional and administrative / executive support to the Department / Division / Section Physician Leader as assigned and other physicians as needed / assigned. Provides support in a highly confidential nature, exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. Acts as a resource to internal and external customers regarding Department / Division / Section services and administrative functions.

Responsibilities :

  • Provides professional and administrative support to the Division / Section / Section Director and administrative leadership regularly exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
  • Liaison for the Division / Section by providing professional assistance to Division / Section leadership, and other Divisions / Sections within the CMH / Department of Pediatrics. In addition, assist as needed with duties that include affiliated Universities and Hospitals such as UMKC, KUMC, University of Kansas Health Systems when indicated or instructed. Exhibits superior customer service / human relations skills.
  • Provides research and analytical support to the Division / Section leadership and faculty.

Qualifications :

  • Associate's Degree Professional knowledge in the area of responsibility is essential to job performance. Job requires demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete several projects / tasks simultaneously. and 3-5 years experience or
  • HS diploma or equivalent and 5-7 years experience may be accepted in lieu of an Associate's degree

    Starting Pay : Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $20.66 / hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

    Remote Work / Work from Home : This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
