Aspen Systems is a leading High-Performance Computing (HPC) solution provider with over 40 years of industry experience. We are expanding our e-commerce and digital platforms and are seeking an experienced Graphic Front-End Developer with strong expertise in WordPress and WooCommerce.

Job Summary

The Graphic Front-End Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive, high-quality user interfaces, graphics, and e-commerce features. This role requires strong technical, creative, and WordPress-focused skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the company’s e-commerce website
  • Build new front-end features, landing pages, and marketing content
  • Translate requirements into clean, responsive front-end code
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and ADA accessibility
  • Optimize page performance and user experience
  • Support marketing with web graphics and digital assets
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and marketing teams
  • Integrate and optimize video content for the web

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 8+ years of front-end development experience
  • Strong experience with WordPress (themes, templates, customizations)
  • Hands-on experience with WooCommerce
  • Experience with WPBakery (Visual Composer)
  • Experience with Advanced Custom Fields PRO (ACF PRO)
  • Experience with job board plugins or job board development
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience with UI / UX tools (Figma, Sketch)
  • Strong responsive design experience (Flexbox, Grid)
  • Experience embedding and optimizing video streaming content
  • SEO and performance optimization experience

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React, Vue, or Angular
  • Experience with SASS / SCSS or Tailwind CSS
  • Experience with PHP, MySQL, REST APIs, JSON
  • Experience creating digital assets and marketing content
  • Git version control experience
  • Ability to convert wireframes into pixel-perfect UI

  • Full-stack experience (PHP + JS frameworks + Laravel)
  • MySQL and MSSQL experience
  • Headless WordPress, Strapi, or Sanity experience
  • Jamstack experience (Next.js, Nuxt, Astro)
  • Animation or motion graphics (After Effects, Lottie, SVG)
  • AI-assisted creative tools (Firefly, Figma AI, Copilot)
  • Google Shopping / Amazon product feeds
  • Docker or container workflows
  • Testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
  • GA4, Search Console, Tag Manager

    • Education

  • Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent experience
