Behavioral Health Technician (LPT), Full Time, Evenings

Job Summary :

Delivers direct / indirect care for individual patients, or an assigned group of patients, receiving psychiatric care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). Meets patient care needs. Assumes responsibility for patient data collection. Provides assigned care of psychiatric patients using age related interventions. Uses therapeutic communication skills and assists with therapeutic and recreational activities, as necessary.

Education and Work Experience :

• High School Education / GED or equivalent : Required
• Associate’s / Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education / related experience : Preferred
• Two years' experience in acute or long-term mental healthcare hospital : Preferred
