Job description

Constructs aircraft structure parts by laying-up resin infused carbon fiber in a sequence prior to processing in an autoclave as described on engineering drawings and company specifications.

But what else? (advantages, specificities, etc.)

• ? Adheres to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders
• ? Documents the materials used in the process to maintain traceability including out times of cold stored materials.
• ? Builds structural components via vacuum bagging using resin systems with carbon fiber reinforcements,
• ? Properly identifies and communicate defects in tooling.
• ? Meet takt times while maintaining specified level of quality
• ? Safely handles various regulated materials used in the process.

Candidate skills & requirements

Education : High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience : Internal applicants having completed Introductory Period.

Computer Skills : Ability to operate and comprehend data using Windows Operating System®, (MRP) M3 and Royal 5, and SmarTeam.

Other Skills : Ability to read and follow engineering blue prints.

Description : Non-entry level.
