Job Description

Engineering Associate / W2-only Contract / 6-months / Onsite, Fremont, CA / $22.75 / hr. W2

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in overseeing and maintaining the production processes within the Metrology Department.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing jobs for both internal and external metrology service requests.
  • Coordinate with shipping / receiving teams and couriers.
  • Act as a liaison between the Metrology department and other internal departments.
  • Provide feedback on systems and work towards continuous improvement.

Required Skills :

  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Adaptive, quick learner, and flexible.
  • Ability to be extremely detail oriented, patient, organized, accountable, and work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift ~25 lbs.
  • Fluent English.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • 3+ years of customer service or sales experience.
  • Experience creating SOPs or similar guiding documents for professional use.
  • Experience in a Quality Control role.
  • Experience coordinating with shipping / logistics services.
  • Experience either leading or being part of the roll out of new professional initiatives.
