PROGRAM ANALYST

Inventory Accuracy Officer

You will serve as the Inventory Accuracy Officer (IAO) and as an analyst and advisor to the Unit on the administrative and operational aspects of programs and management.

You will prepare written and oral presentations, along with recommendations on a wide variety of problems and issues as they arise within the Unit.

You will develop manuals, standard operating procedures (SOP), and directives covering administrative aspects of ordnance operations in accordance with Navy and regional regulations and guidelines.

You will analyzes functions and activities being considered for conversion to contract operations.

You will review administrative audits and investigative reports to determine appropriate changes or corrective action required.

You will perform management surveys to determine compliance with regulations, procedures, sound management practices, and effective utilization of organizations work force.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and / or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and advising on administrative and operational programs and management to identify quality control issues and make recommendations to increase productivity and efficiency of ordnance operations.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience : Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. OR Successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled. A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
