Strong understanding of G-code, machining principles, and manufacturing processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T. Experience with setup, tooling, and machine operation in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision. Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. Competitive compensation package. $30-$38 DOE. Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Programmer role in Cincinnati, OH.
Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for milling and / or turning operations to support production needs.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment to ensure efficient and accurate machining.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters to achieve precision and efficiency.
- Conduct in-process inspections using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, CMMs, etc.) to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve machining challenges and improve processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of programs, setups, tooling lists, and process adjustments.
- Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to machining, workflow efficiency, and quality control.
