    • Schedule Details :

    $10,000 SIGN-ON Bonus for eligible candidates with distance-based relocation available

    $2,000 SIGN-ON Bonus for PM Shifts at ASLMC

    Join our exceptional OR team at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center—Wisconsin's largest hospital with 24 / 7 on-site heart-care. We are recognized for our innovative and compassionate care.

    Major Responsibilities :

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment that ensures optimal patient care, utilizing aseptic surgical techniques for preparation.
  • Assist with a variety of surgical procedures while anticipating the needs of the surgeons.
  • Set up and disinfect the operating room for each case, handling equipment and supplies efficiently.
  • Function as a Second Assistant and notify relevant staff about any equipment or supply issues.
  • Transport patients and equipment as required.
  • Manage and maintain specialty carts ensuring sterility and availability of instruments.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific patient care and ensure proper care based on developmental needs.

    • Qualifications :

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months unless exempted.
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • No prior experience is necessary, we welcome recent graduates!

    • Skills and Abilities :

  • Understanding of aseptic surgical techniques and operating room equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Able to handle a fast-paced environment with lifting and transport duties.
  • Must be able to lift and carry specified weights safely.
  • Ability to respond quickly to on-call situations, arriving within 30 minutes.
