Lead Teacher - Toddler Program

Join our passionate team at Chesterbrook Academy as a Lead Teacher in the Toddler Program! Our early childhood education division offers near 150 schools that provide exceptional services from infant care to Pre-K/K programs, along with summer camps and after-school activities. Our innovative Links to Learning curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and support every child's development through playful discovery.

As a Lead Teacher, you will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment in which toddlers can explore their surroundings and develop independence and foundational learning skills.

What You'll Do:

• Design and implement interactive, age-appropriate activities that foster cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Establish a warm and consistent classroom routine that cultivates security and confidence in toddlers.
• Build strong partnerships with families through effective and continuous communication.
• Collaborate with co-teachers and school leaders to provide an exceptional learning experience.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 19 years old and meet state licensing requirements.
• CDA or at least 60 semester hours with 6 credits in Early Childhood Education required.
• AA degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a licensed childcare center is necessary.
• A passion for early learning and creativity, with a dedication to helping children gain new skills daily.

This position requires frequent walking, standing, sitting, squatting, and reaching, as well as occasional lifting, pushing, and using fine hand movements. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
