Position Summary:

Join the compassionate team at Spring Hills Mount Vernon as a Wellness Nurse (LPN) in our Resident Care Department! In this pivotal role, you will deliver exceptional clinical care and support to our cherished residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will also have the opportunity to supervise other staff members while reporting directly to the Director of Resident Care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications safely and accurately, adhering to state and company guidelines.
• Provide health consultations, effectively communicating any changes in residents' health to physicians and families.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with departmental standards.
• Collaborate closely with all departments to continuously enhance resident care and experiences.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments as required, upholding confidentiality standards.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program is preferred.
• Current, unencumbered LPN license in the state of Virginia.
• BLS and CPR certification required.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Assisted living experience is preferred.
