Position : Mathematics Instructor

Location : Athens Campus

Department : General Education Online Learning and Dual Enrollment

Reports to : Divisional Academic Dean

Salary / Benefits : Salary is commensurate with education and experience. State of Georgia benefits package.

Responsibilities :

• Use appropriate teaching testing and grading techniques.
• Demonstrate current knowledge of the subject area.
• Use effective written and oral communication skills.
• Maintain educational records.
• Develop curriculum and Blackboard course shells.
• Use technology and learning management systems appropriate to the subject taught.
• Evaluate students progress in attaining goals and objectives.
• Assist with student recruitment retention advisement and placement; advisory committee meetings and fulfillment of accreditation requirements.
• Advise / Counsel students on a regular basis and maintain appropriate advisement records.
• Provide necessary support and assistance to students outside of class by maintaining office hours / access.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
