Personal Injury Litigation Attorney (P108/o)

This position is full time on-site at the firm’s Detroit, MI office.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court, mediation, and arbitration hearings
• Conduct legal research and analysis on cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Interview clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense attorneys
• Communicate with clients regularly to keep them informed of case status and progress
• Attend court appearances and depositions

Qualifications:

• Must have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Must be a member in good standing of the Michigan Bar or the prospect of getting one soon
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation experience
• Must have knowledge and expertise in all phases of litigation from pleadings through trial
• Must have knowledge and experience taking and defending depositions
• Must have excellent research and writing abilities
• Must have exceptional attention to detail and a strong work ethic
