Automotive Technician – $95K–$130K+ DOE + Bonuses.

About the Job:
Preferred Auto Centre, a AAA-Approved, family-owned auto repair shop serving Thousand Oaks since 1984, is seeking a highly experienced Automotive Technician. We are an organized, well-equipped shop that values quality, teamwork, and work-life balance (NO weekends).

Salary:
$95,000–$130,000+ annually DOE + benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair foreign and domestic cars and trucks.
  • Perform advanced electrical and drivability diagnostics.
  • Mentor and lead junior technicians.
  • Maintain high quality workmanship and shop standards.

Requirements:
  • ASE Master Technician certification (or equivalent documented experience).
  • 7+ years hands-on automotive repair experience (independent shop experience a plus).
  • Strong electrical & diagnostic skills.
  • Clean driving record and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to lead, communicate clearly, and work as a team.
