We are currently looking for a Security Escort to join our dynamic team in Oak Ridge, TN.

Position Overview :

A Cleared Escort is an authorized person who ensures the prescribed measures are taken to prevent compromise of safeguards and security interests. Cleared Escorts are those authorized personnel who hold a DOE Q-Clearance and have been designated the responsibility of accompanying personnel who lack access authorization into the Limited Area (LA) to ensure adherence to the prescribed security measures. The Cleared Escort will monitor and enforce safety and security policies. The Cleared Escort will be trained in the requirements of the Escorting Program.

Key Responsibilities :

• Patrolling assigned areas and reporting any suspicious or unsafe activity
• Examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure security
• Informing and warning violators of rule infractions
• Providing escort services for visitors, staff, and faculty as required and approved
• Providing first aid / CPR / AED as required
• Reviewing and approving visitor access and delivery requests
• Ensuring compliance with security programs, procedures, and policies
