Job Summary: As the Float Medical Assistant Practice Support/Member Outreach Rep duties will consist of a combination of clerical and clinical tasks for outreach to patients and clinical duties for necessary coverage of patient care when needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Registered Medical Assistant Certification/Certified Nursing Assistant; and current BLS/CPR certification required
• 3 years experience as Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant preferred
• Travel to clinics in Reno, Carson City Fernley and surrounding areas required
• Versed in medical office procedures, front office/administrative expertise
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
• Proficiency in basic computer programs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Office, and minor database retrieval
• Ability to learn and become proficient in multiple EMR’s
• Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude and ability to perform courteously and professionally in all interactions
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and effectively
• Chronic Disease management, understanding of HEDIS, preventative health measures, and experience working with a Geriatric Population
