Sonny Tillman opened the first Sonny's in May 1968 in Gainesville, FL. Sonny's is a franchise across the Southeast and has grown to more than 90 units in 6 states.

Ed Tubel founded Tricor, Inc dba Sonny's BBQ in 1978 in Charlotte, NC.

Currently operating 2 locations, Rock Hill, SC and Concord, NC.

Plans call for Tricor to open more Sonny's in the near future.

Sonny's has built a reputation of good food, fast friendly service and reasonable prices.
