Opening Fall 2025, the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel will also have over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views.

The Engineering Manager provides firsthand leadership within the Engineering Team. Provides both technical and administrative assistance to maintain buildings and associated systems. Overseeing and administer "Synergy" application.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing preventative maintenance, CARE, PRP, work requests and repairs, including keeping the records on work done, scheduling and the assignment of projects and other related tasks.
• Assist the department in the procurement of supplies.
• Review work orders and assign work by priorities.
• Maintain up-to-date inventories of heat, light & power and repair and maintenance supplies.
• Respond to guest requests.
• Work with the Engineering Team, coordinating their activities.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni's culture.
• Manage all environmental programs on property.
