Operations Financial Analyst (Houston)

Job Summary :

Collaborate with AP and Operations to help resolve any invoice issues that arise. Pull all financial reports for operations and AP invoices and manage the companies GRIR report (po list) keeping it within 90 days for audit purposes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Collaborate with Accounts Payables to resolve po invoice discrepancies, with the utilization of internal departments and / or vendors.
• Obtain managers pre-approval to create pos.
• Daily reconcile AP log to resolve all problematic unprocessed invoices.
• Conduct invoice pre-verification, resolving discrepancies with vendors.
• Authored reconciliation of the AP Financial Unprocessed Invoice Report.
• Weekly formulates Power Bi reports of unapproved pos and obtain approval from appropriate managers.
• Formulates month-end financial accruals for Operations Dept. and review costs with a team of 3 Accounting and Operational Managers in monthly managerial meetings.
• Create pos for all expense related activity for Operations and any missed pos on behalf of Logistics Dept.
• Utilized SAP / Oracle to code all invoices when creating pos.
• Spearhead Financial bi-weekly meetings with a team of 3 Financial and Operations managers, discussing performance, errors, and ways to improve.
• Manage / Research GRIR report, keeping it within 90 days.
