Position : Java Developer

Location : Chantily VA (Hybrid - 3 days every week)

Duration : 12 Months Contract

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analysis, design, coding, and testing of new applications or enhancements to existing applications using Java-based technologies, including Java, J2EE, JSP, XML, JDBC, and Servlets.
  • Must be able to apply the SDLC concept and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications.
  • Must have a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Strong communication skills are required as the position will interact with business owners.

Minimum Requirements (Must Have)

  • Bachelor's degree - Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5 -6+ Years of working experience required on Java, J2EE, JSP, XML, JDBC.
  • Experience from range of technologies such as Angular and React interfaces, REST, Spring Boot services, and SAML,
  • Server-side technologies such as JBOSS, MessagingMOM (JMS, MQSeries), EJB 2.0 / 3.0, and Web Services (REST).
  • Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented (OO) design patterns, distributed databases, and data modeling techniques
  • Experience in the development of distributed / scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications.
  • Knowledge of working with GIT, Jenkins, Maven, and Automated Deployment / Dev-ops will be a plus.
  • Database design and writing complex SQL in an Oracle environment.
  • Experience in an Agile development environment utilizing the Scrum methodology.

    • Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of healthcare messaging standards such as HL7, ASTM etc.
